Coventry (New team in RBYFL)

Wildcat Football

WILDCAT FOOTBALL home of the newly formed Coventry Youth Football Organization. Coventry Football gained admittance to the Reading Berks Youth Football League on March 19th, 2009 and will begin play in August of 2009.
The new league has been formed by a group of Parents led by Todd Rossman to give the children of the Owen J Roberts School District a new experience when it comes to youth football. Reading Berks was chosen because the league is AGE BASED NOT WEIGHT BASED, therefore children will compete against their peers and will play with their classmates as it is done on the Junior High and High School Levels.

The attack is on

The Cougar attack was on during the scrimmage at Hamburg.   Among those making fine plays was 2nd year Knee High’s player Christian Reppert.  More photos  from the scrimmage click here.

A reminder that the Cougar tackle teams play host at the Kutztown Park to the Oley Valley Football teams on Thursday August 27th for another scrimmage.

Hamburg Scrimmage

Knee Highs, Mites and Midgets  have a scrimmage game against Hamburg on Saturday August 22, at 1:30.  This will be at Hamburg.  They will have their concession stand open.

Directions:

Enter Hamburg High School main entrance and park in lot behind school. Do not park on grass anywhere. Park in lots only. Additional parking is at Junior High School.

Youth Night at the Kutztown Cougar High School Football Game

The “Youth Night at the Kutztown Cougar Football” game will be held on Friday, September 18^th. Game time is 7:00 p.m. but there will be a Tailgating Party from 3 – 6 p.m. on the lower lot of the high school parking lot before the game.  More information will follow.
